Residential Area Programmers (J-RAPpers)
The
Kristol Center for Jewish Life / Hillel is looking for dedicated, fun, outgoing
students who live in the residence halls to b Jewish Residential Area
Programmers (JRAP).
JRAPpers will work to create fun and
exciting Jewish experiences for Delaware students based in the residence halls/complexes.
JRAPers will be supervised by staff from
the Kristol Center and meet regularly or leadership development to plan monthly
events that will take place in their residence halls. The possibilities for events are limitless,
but could include Shabbat services/dinners; Hanuka Candle lighting; guest
speakers; tzedek (community service) programs; study breaks and so much more!
Being a JRAPper this year is a great way to
strengthen your leadership skills and get involved in Jewish life on campus. You’ll get to know more students in your residence
hall and create fun, exciting events for your friends and neighbors. It’s a great position to list on your resume
as well! And most importantly, you will
be serving the Jewish community in an amazing, fun, meaningful way. Money will
be available for each program, as needed.
Also, you’ll be invited to monthly leadership meetings with all of the
students who hold leadership positions in the Jewish community on campus.
