Alex was born and raised in Berkeley, California. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) with a degree in Drama and a minor in Jewish Studies. While at UCI, Alex became involved in Alpha Epsilon Phi and Hillel, serving as President of both organizations. Throughout their four years in college, they worked as a religious school educator at a local synagogue. Over the span of thirteen years, Alex connected to her Judaism as camper, counselor, and CIT advisor at URJ Camp Newman.

Alex is an enthusiastic lover of music, film, television, and cooking. She enjoys many different types of reality television and would love to talk to you about which shows are her favorite! Alex is looking forward to meeting and sharing her passions with students!
