Samantha Fruchtman is the Development Associate where she executes fundraising initiatives for UD Hillel. Sam worked in the arts for over 22 years as a corporate art consultant and as the Director of Creative Artists Network (now known as The Center for Emerging Visual Artists) in Philadelphia. She finished her arts career at the Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts (now known as The Delaware Contemporary) where she served in the curatorial department for nine years and coordinated a complex exhibition program with more than 33 exhibitions annually.
Sam became interested in fundraising during her many years working in nonprofit organizations. Most recently she spent four years as the Development Associate for The Hickman, a Quaker senior community in West Chester, PA where most of her time was focused on a large capital campaign and annual fundraising appeals. As a newly minted “empty nester,” Sam enjoys traveling with her husband and spending free time as a dog volunteer with Faithful Friends Animal Society.
