Hilary Jampel is the Assistant Director at UD Hillel where she leads the student life team including the student engagement vision, oversees the internship program for 50 interns annually, manages the Measuring Excellence student data and reporting, and mentors the student board. Originally from New Jersey, she is a proud alumna of the University of Delaware where she studied Political Science and Global Studies. Hilary previously worked at Hillel International for 7 years on the Birthright Israel and Student Engagement teams.
Most recently, she served as the Associate Director of Talent Management where she was responsible for developing an internal movement strategy, helping to create and launch the Springboard Fellowship, and recruiting for more than 30 positions annually. Prior to coming to Hillel, Hilary taught and wrote curriculum at the Close Up Foundation, an experiential civic education non-profit. She is an alumna of the Jeremiah Fellowship and was previously a coach for OneTable. In her spare time, Hilary loves to travel, cook, and explore new places.
