We've got you covered for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. We offer Reform and Conservative services (usually at Hillel, Trabant or Perkins) and meals (which you can pay for with meal swipes, points, FLEX or a credit/debit card). If you play a musical instrument, can blow the shofar, or can read/chant in Hebrew or English, email our Rabbinic Associate.
During Passover, Hillel offers seders and kosher for Passover meals (lunch & dinner all week long) at Hillel's Kristol Center. Meals can be paid for with meal swipes, points, FLEX or a credit/debit card. More information can be found here.
We love celebrating Sukkot! Help us build our sukkah, come by to enjoy a meal in it, or take part in one of our Sukkot events (like Smoothies in the Sukkah or Hookah in the Sukkah!).
Every Hanukkah, Kesher hosts Latkepalooza, where they serve hundreds of latkes and offer some fantastic musical entertainment. You don't want to miss it!
Hillel offers two student-led Shabbat services (Reform & Conservative) every Friday night at 6:00pm. Services are always followed by a delicious and free Shabbat dinner at 7:00pm, cooked by our Kitchen interns and volunteers. Both services and dinners take place at Hillel's Kristol Center (located at 47 W Delaware Ave).
HOLOCAUST EDUCATION WEEK
Each April, Hillel hosts Holocaust Education Week on campus to raise awareness about the dangers of discrimination, indifference and the consequences of hatred and to enhance understanding about the Holocaust. We bring in theater performances, speakers and host discussions and film showings around campus. To get involved and join the Holocaust Education committee, email Cara Behneman.
