Rachel was born and raised in Dahlonega, GA. She graduated from Rollins College in Winter Park, FL, double majoring in philosophy and communication studies, with a minor in Jewish studies. Growing up, Rachel was an active member of Georgia 4-H. While at Rollins, Rachel was a member of the Varsity Women's Rowing team, involved with Greek life, and President of Hillel.
Rachel had little connection to a Jewish community until she studied abroad at Tel Aviv University. Upon returning to campus, she was inspired to build a stronger Jewish community on her own campus and create more interfaith dialogues and relationships. This experience encouraged her to work for Hillel and give back to the organization that gave so much to her while in college. She is excited to be here at the University of Delaware and help students create the Jewish experiences they want. Go Blue Hens!
