Sami is thrilled to be joining University of Delaware Hillel! She is originally from the Chicago suburbs and graduated from University of Vermont (UVM) with a degree in Elementary Education. While at UVM, she was part of Alpha Delta Pi, and was very involved with Hillel where she was a member of Challah for Hunger and Catamounts Supporting Israel. After college, she spent two years working in a preschool, and spent the past year living in Jerusalem teaching English to elementary students! She is so excited to be back on campus as the IACT/Israel Fellow to bring students to Israel!

In her free time, Sami loves to travel around the world. Some of her favorite places include: Auckland, Istanbul, Sinai, and of course, Jerusalem! When not traveling, you can find Sami watching the Chicago Cubs or catching up on her favorite shows.
