Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Lani graduated from George Washington University where she studied Psychology and Sociology. While at GW, she was on the executive board for Camp Kesem GW, a nationwide community that supports children through and beyond their parent's cancer, all four years and was very involved in Dance Marathon. As the Director of Engagement, Lani is eager to meet students and help make Hillel feel like home for Jewish students and focus on all things surrounding wellness, programming, engagement, and marketing.

Lani loves to spend her summers traveling or at summer camp, something she has done for the last ten years. Once, she crewed a sailboat from Virginia to South Carolina and discovered her love for new adventures. When she isn't exploring, Lani can be found on the Peloton, cheering on all Philly sports teams, and binge watching reality tv shows.
