HIGH HOLIDAYS
Click here to check out our 2020 High Holiday offerings.
We've got you covered for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. In "typical" years, we offer Reform and Conservative services (usually at Hillel or in Trabant MPRs) and meals (which you can pay for with your meal plan). If you play a musical instrument, can blow the shofar, or can read/chant in Hebrew or English, contact Rabbi Nick!
PASSOVER
During Passover, Hillel offers seders and kosher for Passover meals (lunch & dinner all week long) at Hillel's Kristol Center. Thanks to generous donors, meals can be paid for with meal swipes, points, FLEX or a credit/debit card.
SUKKOT
We love celebrating Sukkot! Help us build our sukkah, come by to enjoy a meal in it, or take part in one of our Sukkot events (like Smoothies in the Sukkah or Succulants in the Sukkah!).
HANUKKAH
Hillel loves Hanukkah, and you don't want to miss it! Keep an eye on our social media for this year's events and see pictures from previous years!
SHABBAT
Click here to RSVP and receive the Zoom link for services.
For Fall 2020 we will be having free to-go meals. Students should check their emails to get the RSVP link.
Hillel offers two student-led Shabbat services (Reform & Conservative) every Friday night at 5:00pm. Services are always followed by a delicious and free Shabbat dinner at 6:00pm. Both services and dinners take place at Hillel's Kristol Center (located at 47 W Delaware Ave).
HOLOCAUST EDUCATION WEEK
Each April, Hillel hosts Holocaust Education Week on campus to raise awareness about the dangers of discrimination, indifference and the consequences of hatred and to enhance understanding about the Holocaust. We bring in theater performances, speakers and host discussions and film showings around campus. To get involved and join the Holocaust Education committee, contact Hilary Jampel.
